Visit the old town and Nyon, this will be worth the experience. Chill by the lake side in summer.

Geneva is a great place. It is very safe and there are excellent services, from public transport to schools to clubs and societies. The location is very central, in the heart of Europe, making it possible to travel to many beautiful locations. However, Geneva is consistently ranked as one of the most expensive cities in the world and so anyone moving should budget and plan carefully.

The cost of living in Geneva is very high. However, you will be able to take advantage of beautiful surroundings, a clean lake to swim in, safe neighborhoods and efficient transportation. Many people travel to nearby France to buy groceries and essential items because it is much less expensive. Though this may be looked down upon by Swiss citizens, it can be a good option for those looking to save.

Geneva is a quiet city, and may be a much different atmosphere if you plan on moving there from a big, or noisy city, such as New York. However, that means it is calm and the pace of living there is easygoing. Though there are many types of communities and neighborhoods there, the price of living there is somewhat high, but that depends on what you’re used to. it it nonetheless a great place.

Geneva is a lovely place for those who have a steady income. The city exists in a micro-climate that affords its residents gorgeous weather for most of the year. It is in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. It is the second-most important seat of the United Nations.

Geneva is a quiet place, people keep to themselves. There is nice scenery at the lake side. You can enjoy a nice boat ride by the lake and look at ducks. Geneva is well-known for delicious fondue and chocolate. You don’t need a car to get around, you can use the bus. Everything is within walking distance.
