Our City is very strict in implementing rules regarding our policies and orders. We have a very good Mayor in our city. Our city is very clean and one of the most outstanding cities in the Philippines. Most people here are generous and kind. There are many jobs in our city.

Our city was known for making the best quality slippers in the country. Slipper making is also one of the main source of living here. Slipper makers in our city were the best and can finish works in no time. Thousands dozens of slippers were made everyday and delivered to different parts of the country.

Gapan City is a city in Nueva Ecija. It is the last city of Nueva Ecija if you are coming from the north of Luzon. Gapan City is known for having one of the oldest Augustinian church in the Philippines. The church was named, “La Virgen Divina Pastora”.

Everybody loves a heart-warming town full of welcoming people and stress-free environment. Gapan City is not only that vacation spot that the tourists seek for, it also is one of the leading cities who can provide excellent employment and governance. Anyone can find the city always brimming with the people’s joy and satisfaction.

Here in Gapan City, our main source of income is tsinelas making or slipper making. Gapan is within the province of Nueva Ecija which is the Rice Granary of the Philippines, farming is also one of the main source of income of the citizens of Gapan. In terms of tourist spot, we have our town plaza which is known for its ferris wheel and night market. Our city is also known because our Mayor is a good leader and he was recognized by our country’s President.

People are nice and helpful in Gapan City. The main sources of income are farms, livestock, and slipper manufacturing. Commodities and goods are of reasonable price. Our city is placed in a great location, you can easily travel to different provinces. Transportation is not problem. We also have hospital, and a public market where you can find and buy everything. There’s a lot of mall, you will never run out of things to do.

We have our own Ferris wheel in our Town Plaza. We also have mouth watering delicacies and people are very hospitable, they welcome people from different parts of the world as their own family. This is also the town where the miraculous Divina Pastora is. We are also part of the province that is the rice capital of the Philippines.

Gapan City is not an ideal hometown for some but for me, this is a place where you can find peace. This is a community where people are very close with each other since there are only few residents here. Every morning, you can get the chance to see beautiful sunrise in the view of rice fields considering that we are the “Rice Granary of the Philippines”.

Gapan City is one of the most progressive cities in the country. You cannot find a hiking trail or strip of white sand nearby. However, looking at endless rice fields can make anyone feel calm quickly. I have been to a lot of places, but I will always come back to my city.
