Fresno is a great city because of its central location with easy access go mountain parks and the coast with the Pacific ocean. The climate is wonderful without any severe weather patterns. Great family town with a low crime rate, friendly people, and lots of exciting outdoor activities to enjoy for the whole family.

Fresno is a small city in the San Joaquin Valley, in California. Fresno has beautiful mountain ranges, including Yosemite National Park. Fresno’s air quality is among the worst in the US because of its entrapment surrounded by these mountains. Fresno is 15% safer than some of California’s other cities with its crime rate. Fresno is in the valley, so it’s known for growing crops, mainly grapes and raisins. The weather in Fresno is usually very hot especially in the summer and because of climate change it seems as if heat waves are getting more intense.

Currently, I live in Fresno, California. The city is located in the central valley and is surrounded by farmland. If you move to Fresno, know that the summers are hot, so make sure you find a house or some friends with access to a pool. There are also two water parks in town that the locals go to during the summer.

Fresno is pretty much the center of California. We reside within the San Joaquin Valley, which is within the Central Valley. The San Joaquin Valley is “The Breadbasket of the World” because we produce most of the agricultural produce in California (and California produces more than 12% of the total of US produce). Fresno is a sprawling city, full of various neighborhoods and areas of different aesthetics and cultures (we also have an unfortunate history of redlining). The air quality is nothing to boast about, but the proximity to the ocean, the mountains, Southern California, and the Bay Area is something in Fresno’s favor. Fresno is a city in transition – finding its way with agriculture, burgeoning technology, and culture.

Fresno is the heart of the Central Valley where you can find many agricultural companies that help produce much of the fruits and vegetables for the state of California. There are also many places one can visit without having to drive far out, with two National Parks at a short distance and many beaches just two hours away. You will also find many wonderful cultural’s that can be learned from.

When it comes to thriving in Fresno, it is important for a new resident to know how hot it can be during Summer. Also, there are many advantages to living the middle of California. We have access to the mountains and the beaches, both of which are two hours away.

Fresno is in the Central Valley, it has beautiful scenery and amazing restaurants. There is an energetic atmosphere and plenty of things to do within the area. Fresno is admirable for its agriculture and never fails to feel like home even to the newest of residents. Moving to Fresno is ultimately a great decision.

Fresno is a wonderful city, while we may have a negative reputation, the city itself is quite rich in culture and history. Here you will find many beautiful buildings downtown and a remarkable mountains just east of that. It’s hard for me to imagine leaving this place after all this time.

Someone moving to my city should know there is a lot of agriculture here. Working with crops, in fields, and on farms are all things that are very important to the people who live here. While the air isn’t the cleanest, there are many indoor places to relax and unwind with friends and family. There are people from all walks of life that have made this place home, and it’s very inviting. For example, there are cultural festivals. The music played at these festivals come from many backgrounds and there is food sold from stalls that contain delicious spices that are homegrown. This city isn’t the biggest or most famous, but it has much to offer those who want to settle down and raise a family.

Fresno is known for having very hot summers. Agriculture is one of main career paths that many choose in this area. It is a small town made up of many small business with only a few major corporations available. Fresno is a great town to settle down in as it creates a family oriented environment.

It is hot here the majority of the year. Not Phoenix-hot, but hot enough to make most people uncomfortable. The city is setup to accommodate the heat (air conditioners everywhere, lots of indoor activities, and pools everywhere!) but it’s also more common than not to have outdoor shopping centers and large parking lots to trek through. Planning is important!
