Freetown is highly populated and bustling with a wide spectrum of businesses. It is mountainous and has beautiful beaches and a wide mainland. Within the city centre, there are dilapidated shacks with some spreading sparsely along the shores. My city is in the west of the country.

In Freetown, you can find everything you desire. From beautiful beaches and breathtaking sunsets to busy streets and noisy chatter. Whether you’re in for noisy and busy like Lumbley or just peaceful and quiet like Goderich, we’ve got you covered. You’ll be surrounded by a rich culture and history. the people are friendly and accomodating. No matter how long you stay, you’ll surely have a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Avoid Freetown in August, when the city receives a deluge of rain, causing widespread flooding. In 2017, a mudslide claimed the lives of over 1,000 residents. By December, the city is caked in a light covering of dust as the Harmattan winds bring sand from the Sahara. The best time to visit is early in the year January through to March, but be aware that temperatures can reach 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) and higher as the dry seasons peak in late March and April.
