Freeport, New York, is on the water and offers a bevy of recreational options ranging from fishing to kayaking. The Nautical Mile, true to its name, is a mile-long stretch of land that features boat tours, charter fishing, restaurants, and seafood shops. Grab an ice cream from the shop and enjoy a peaceful view of the marsh from the covered gazebo at the end of the mile!

Freeport, NY, is a great place. One of the places to explore would be Nautical Mile, which is known for boating, fishing, and fine dining. There are other places to visit in Freeport, but Nautical Mile is my favorite.
