Living on a military base, there are rules one should follow to avoid Military Police and any problematic incidences. A military Identification Card is mandatory to get onto the base. Meaning, a guard will scan your ID at the gate and if you’re clear, they’ll let you come on base. If you are just visiting, you will need a visitation form. Follow speed limits and regulations otherwise Military Policemen may pull you over. A military ID is required to purchase items from the PX Exchange store and you must show your ID card before entering the Commissary grocery store along with purchasing items. Always be aware of whatever belongings are in your vehicle because guards will occasionally select people at the gates, randomly, to have their vehicles searched.
