The national news would have you believe that with the lead in the water and poverty that there are few positives about living in Flint. Actually there are new businesses opening, such as bars and eateries. The city also has a cultural center, consisting of the Flint Institute of Arts, Whiting Auditorium, and the Flint Institute of Music.

Someone who’s moving to Flint should know it’s a very small and empty city. Violence is a major flaw in Flint as well. There are several abandoned houses and not too many high paying jobs. We haven’t had clean water for years and it doesn’t look like anything is going to be accomplished on that matter anytime soon!
