The town of Far Hills has an interesting history. In the early 1800’s it served as a summer getaway. The rich from New York City built homes to escape the city in summer. In the 1950’s a train line was created. This linked Far Hills with direct access to NYC. This changed Far Hills to a community of year-round residents.
