Fairfax has a lot of traffic and getting from place to place, especially during rush hour, can be frustrating. One must plan to live on the Metro route, if commuting into D.C. is necessary, or plan to take highways that can be congested, and which may have HOV restrictions. Careful consideration of the time it might take to get to work is important in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

HELPFUL REPORT

The landscape in Fairfax almost never varies. The scenery is very flat with no major elevation gains. That being said, it is beautiful living in a sense woodland. Nature is visible in every direction you look. Fairfax is quite beautiful and open.

In Fairfax, the seasons are incredible. There is always something about how the leaves fall in early autumn, and how the sun beams during the hottest days of summer; sometime in July. In Fairfax, there are plenty of fun places to explore and before you know it, you’ll be finding your new favorite coffee shop in no time. No matter where you are and what you do, there is always something about Fairfax that makes it special.

For anyone moving to Fairfax, VA, it is a beautiful city with plenty of outdoor activities, walking trails, and small businesses to shop in. People will find warm greetings everywhere they go, from humans and dogs. The best part about living in Fairfax is the balance between city and nature.

Fairfax is a city within a larger metropolitan area. Although it is comprised of mostly suburban communities, it has a thriving business sector that help sustain a strong local economy. As a result, residents have access to abundant opportunities, essential resources, and enriching experiences that offer excellent quality of life.
