Right now, all of the US, but especially the greater Seattle (Everett) city, is experiencing problems with drug addiction and crime due to Fentanyl, which has taken us by storm. There are few jobs that pay enough for the cost of living here, in terms of rent and being able to feed yourself, and it’s not worth seeing streets lined with tents. You can smell burnt popcorn, which is the smell of Fentanyl in the air as you walk through the streets, and people have no problem doing drugs in front of you. Crime is rampant here. Don’t get caught in the wrong areas where you will stand out; you might be robbed or worse. Around here, if they rob you, they usually kill you so as not to worry about facing charges if you call the cops.

Everett is one of the largest cities in Washington, and has a variety of gorgeous neighborhoods to move to from houses to condos to gated areas. It also houses a wide variety of jobs hiring to those looking for opportunities. There are many restaurants and hotspots located throughout the city where you can go out and enjoy a day out with your friends or family, if you are in the mood for change of view. And along with those hotspots, there are many beautiful scenery and lovely parks for long walks and picnics by the beach. If that sounds like an ideal move for you, then maybe Everett is for you!

Everett is a great alternative to living in the hustle and bustle of Seattle. Whereas there is a commute to get into the city, the lower cost of living and lower density of people makes it worthwhile. The city is ever growing and property values continue to increase as businesses find the benefit of moving north of the Seattle.

Everett is a medium-sized city north of Seattle, on the Puget Sound in Washington. It has a great school system, a sprawling suburban expanse and plenty of parks and lakes. Silver Lake is a beautiful lake on the south end of Everett and offers disc golf, motor-less boating and a large playground with a pavilion for picnics. This is the perfect city for raising a family in.
