Anyone considering moving to Erie, PA should first know that Erie is a beautiful city. It sits right on Lake Erie and the cost of living in this city is very economically friendly. There are wonderful schools and many wonderful shopping areas. I would highly recommend you researching the area to see if it is a fit for you.

The city of Erie is known for it’s beautiful summers, sunrises and sunsets. The backdrop for this illumination is Lake Erie, one of the five Great Lakes in the United States. What is a famously picturesque vision in summer, however, brings with it a lake effect in winter that is dangerously blinding. The beauty of summer becomes a dreaded winter as the lake effect brings with it snow squalls that can prove to be blinding when driving. If you can bear the harsh winter, you will be rewarded with an amazing summer.

Erie is an incredibly unique town. The lower half is surrounded by lush forests, and the upper half ends with the Canadian border. This border is formed by Lake Erie, which is one of the Great Lakes. Erie is a large tourist destination for people who want to go camping, visit relatives, or relax on the beach.

Erie is a small city in Pennsylvania offering easy access to larger surrounding cities. It offers residents four seasons of refreshing beauty. If you enjoy snow, Erie receives quite a bit in winter. Summer is a glorious season here. Erie is well known for its peninsula, Presque Isle State Park. Visitors can enjoy a swim, walk along the beach, bike ride, fishing, and so much more. If you visit during summer don’t forget to check out our famous restaurant on the beach, Sara’s. They are well known for their Smith’s hot dogs and twist ice cream cones.
