We are a small bedroom community for nearby Fayetteville, which is home to the University of Arkansas. While our population is only slightly over 2000 people, they are some of the friendliest folks you’ll meet. A lovely park sits at the center of town and it features walking trails, basketball courts and a babbling creek with kayaking and fishing potential.

HELPFUL REPORT

Elkins is a quaint town surrounded by mountains, rivers, and wildlife. There is a plethora of hiking trails within two hours of Elkins, many of which are accessible to people of all abilities. This is a quiet town with only sounds of farm life and small groups of people passing through. Make sure to keep your eyes open when passing through–if you blink, you will surely miss the charm of small town Elkins, Arkansas.
