Eindhoven is a small but unique city in the Netherlands. When moving there it is important to be aware of the initial registration one must go through! It is important to gain a BSN number as this will give you access to local shopping, a mobile phone and renting housing. I would highly recommend using a relocation agent to help you through the red tape. A great resource point to begin this journey is the Holland Expat Centre. Once this somewhat arduous process is completed you are on your way to being a member of a vibrant expat friendly city. Welcome!

Eindhoven is a baby; 100 years ago there were just five small villages. The city exploded with workers’ accommodation when Phillips found great success with his light bulb. Now, it is a haven for forward thinking designers and technological giants; everything is glittering with light and possibility. It is a melting pot of skills and nationalities.
