In East Moline there are a lot of family owned businesses. It doesn’t matter if it is food, automotive, grocery stores, there are a lot of family owned businesses that make up the area. Silver’s, one of the cities in the Quad cities has “hero street” which is a street downtown silvers that is a memorial for those who passed in the wars, which is the only such street in the US. It was so popular the well known actor Martin Sheen made an interview about it.

East Moline is part of the larger Quad Cities community on the Mississippi River bordering Illinois and Iowa. There are many waterfront activities to enjoy, including walking along the river, biking the river trails, boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The area is also well-known for many breweries with many new ones opening all the time.

East Moline, Illinois, is one of the cities that makes up the Quad cities. East Moline is made up of about 21,000 people as of 2020. East Moline is a fairly large city. There is tons to do in the Quad cities. If you live in East Moline you have grown up around the connecting cities such as Silvis, Moline, and Rock Island. The Quad cities is an area where about half of smaller cities are in Illinois and in Iowa. East Moline is on the Illinois side. East Moline itself has many schools for such a small area along with a lot of Food chains and family restaurants.

A smaller city that is added to the area is Rock Island, which has a military base. The Quad Cities has its own marathon. There’s a huge course all around the different cities in the Quad cities that make up the route of the marathon. There’s also a run called”The Vicks at six” in Davenport, Iowa ( part of the Quad cities). There may not be amazing restaurants or even top line structures at the Quad cities, but there is is family and happiness.
