Ask yourself: Do I have skis, a mountain bike, rock-climbing gear, or a pair of trail-running shoes. If yes, Durango may be the place for you. Durango is a small town nestled in Colorado’s remote San Juan Mountains, an oasis for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Durango is a tourist town so there is a lot to do a well as amazing restaurants to try! This town is also well known for its amazing hiking and biking trails. It is an extremely dog friendly place. You will see a dog with almost every person walking on the sidewalk!

The change in elevation can be difficult for someone moving to Durango. Drinking plenty of water may help ease the elevation sickness one might experience. The human body will eventually acclimate to the higher elevation.
