If you’re moving to Durango you’ll need at minimum a basic understanding of Spanish, and to be prepared for a variety of weather, from very hot to quite cold. Sunny days are the norm, but during the winter months it gets cold, and the houses and buildings are not equipped with heating.

It is a small city but very picturesque. I live in a small northern city on Mexico. The jobs are fair but the pay is not great; it’s parallel to the cost of living. There may not be great shopping malls but traffic is very light and it’s a peaceful, quiet, and cleaned-air city.
