Someone moving to Greenville should consider the weather, the cost of living, and their interest in the surrounding area. In the South the weather is hot and humid in summer, although winters are mild. Living in downtown Greenville is expensive, but if you are willing to drive a little bit the surrounding area has many reasonably-priced neighborhoods and the option of country living close to the city if so inclined. Greenville is a city with many things to do, however it is a small city and does not have the variety and culture of Charleston or near-by Charlotte, North Carolina. On the other hand, it offers easy access to the lakes and mountains for those who enjoy the outdoors. It’s size also makes it less intimidating to navigate for those unfamiliar with city living. It is a happy medium of the variety of the city with easy access to suburbs and nature.

What I love about my city the most is living near the downtown and being out in the country. When I go downtown I can ride bikes with my friends and try different foods at the restaurants. Another fun thing is being out in the country fishing and camping out with my friends.
