Dix Hills is in the Half Hollow Hills Central School District, which is well known for its competitive athletic programs and diverse Student population.

Dix Hills is a large city in Long Island, which is about two hours east of New York City. Dix Hills has many delicious restaurants and seafood places, so it is extremely easy to find a place to enjoy some food. because Long Island is practically a peninsula, it is easy to relax by the beach or take a walk with your dog near the boardwalk. The downside of living in Dix Hills is the constantly busy streets and roads. Highways and roads are usually packed throughout the day, making it difficult to get to your desired destinations in a short amount of time!
