Dindigul is one of the largest cities in Tamil Nadu by area. More than three lakhs people are living. It’s well known for biryani and locks. So, it’s also called biriyani city and lock city. The most interesting tourist places are Fort, Palani, Sirumalai, Kodaikanal, etc. It also popular for pilgrim centers like palani.
It’s famous for lock, fruits and flowers. One can make at least Rs. 500-1000 for their bread and butter daily. Nature surrounded, one can have a peaceful life here. Famous SHRI Mariamman temple here with a great Fort at the back. It’s a holy city. One can have great jack fruit bananas and grapes here at all times. It’s good.
Dindigul is semi-urban area. There are hills, such as Sirumalai Hills, and Kodai Hills, which are summer resorts, nearby Dindigul. The city is famous for locks, banana fruits from Sirumalai Hills. There is a fort in Dindigul on top of a small hill. The fort was built by Mohammadian rulers.
The transport facilities, door delivery food items and cafeteria are less available here. There is no standard clothing store here. But there is beautiful village area surrounded everywhere. In villages people are friendly enough. There is good infra-structured colleges available nearby so students can easily get them. They is swimming academy nearby in which they can get trained.
The city I reside at is mostly noted for the food and the surrounding tourist destinations. The first reference from me would be is to grab a plate of biryani with a local cuisine enriched with spicy and traditional cooking style. And the second one would be a travel to any of the nearest mountain resorts.

The city is well-developed with good infrastructure and other facilities. The city is known for its locks and biryani. Parts of Dindigul Districts like Palani, Oddanchatram, Vedasandur, Nilakottai, Kodaikanal, Natham, Athoor.
It is a small city known for its tourist spot and its importance in the freedom struggle of India. Centered around the fort, the main city is constructed. Most of the schools, churches, temples, and mosques are present in the heart of it. Nearby villagers come to the city for their families’ shopping.
The city is famous for the delicious biryani, a mughal good. The famous Rockfort of tippy sultan residing in the dindigul city. Many industries has their parent company here like anil industries. Here you can get food 24 hours a day and the taste of those food will be like as taste from heaven.
