The person visiting Dhanbad should know the place where he visits is called Coal Capital of India. The very prestigious Indian School of Mines, which now has a tag of IIT, is also situated here. This city is not as advanced as other cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bangalore but you’ll see different people and places here.
The city Dhanbad is known as “The coal capital of India”. It has rich minerals resources and many coal mines. It has the biggest coal producing mine known as Jharia, which is world-famous for its underground fire. The Jharia mines underground fire has been burning for years and there is no solution to it. Dhanbad also has one of the IITs named Indian school of mines.
Someone may find Dhanbad a crowded place. Some may get attracted by seeing people of diverse culture and religion. My city is famous for coal, so the visitors may find it as unique. It has world-famous IIT college named ISM (Indian School of Mines). People may like the famous park of here named Birsa Munda Park.
