Decatur is a lively, diverse city that is about fifteen minutes from Atlanta. There are a few neighborhoods within the city that have become very popular in the past few years. Even ourists have taken to visiting the historic areas in Decatur! I love that there are so many whole-in-the-wall restaurants, bars, and stores that sell everything from clothing to crystals.

Decatur is a very diverse city. There are people from not only this city, but also other states and countries. As an outskirt of Atlanta, it is vibrant with culture and exciting events. Yearly we have an annual book festival in the downtown region, where various authors and creators showcase their work.

Decatur is in the greater Atlanta area, and Atlanta is notorious for its poor layout. This makes it extremely difficult to travel as a pedestrian. As this is the case, one should investigate the public transportation system before taking residence. They could also invest in a vehicle. This will make it much easier to work and operate within the city.

Decatur is a beautiful, multicultural city. Like many other cities within the metropolitan Atlanta area, Decatur has multiple parks and nature trails. We also have a friendly, welcoming community that takes in refugees from all over the word. If one seeks a progressive, open community, Decatur is an excellent choice.
