Darbhanga is one of the major cities of Bihar. It is famous for producing fox nuts (makhana). Darbhanga is the fourth largest city of Bihar. There are two universities i) Lalit Narayan Mithila Vishwavidyalaya, ii) Kameshwar Singh Sanskrit University. People in this city speak different languages. Some of the major languages are Maithili, Bhojpuri, Hindi and English.

Darbhanga District, Bihar, has many things to see like Darbhanga Raj Darbar, Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Hotels etc. I suggest every people visit our District Darbhanga, Here many villages interior area’s. Approx every types of festival we people celebrated. And mostly we celebrates Chhath Puja, Eid, Diwali, Dussehra etc.

Someone who wants to move to my city, if he is already known to the area, then that will be good for him/her to come there easily. And the person who is unknown to the area, should have search it on internet or asking someone who is aware of. And after getting information completely should have move for the country or state or city.

Darbhanga has a rich Maithil Culture. The people here are quite spiritual and helping. Fish and rice is a loved meal here and festivities last for a longing time. Children have immense respect for their parents and love for the young ones. However, people here do not accept injustice and have a strong belief of standing with the right.
