While Cupertino is a city with a variety of major technology companies and high wages, the cost of living, especially in terms of housing, makes it difficult to afford to live here. Anyone moving to Cupertino should strongly consider how the high cost of housing might affect their higher wages. This cost of living could actually lower their quality of life when compared to a more affordable city.

Cupertino, in the heart of the Bay Area, is best known as the location of both Apple Inc. and Seagate Technology. Although it is a landlocked city, it is a beautiful area with highly ranked school districts and highly regarded hiking areas. Most people rely on the San Jose International Airport and the San Francisco International Airport to travel in and out of the Bay Area. Unfortunately, Cupertino does not have a light rail that runs through the area, but commuters frequently rely on either Caltrain or the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority to travel from city to city.

Cupertino is a suburb of San Jose, California. It is about an hour away from San Francisco. It is a relatively calm and uneventful place, but many places in the area are suited for outdoor activity. One can go hiking in the hills just west of the city or bike on one of the many public trails in the area.

Cupertino is in the suburbs of San Jose, one of the marquee cities in Silicon Valley. Though Cupertino’s culture is influenced heavily by technology and the people who work in those fields, it’s immense cultural diversity is one of the highlights of the city. With heavy Asian-American and Indian-American populations, there are a plethora of authentic food options available all of which prove to be incredibly tasteful. Along with the technology culture, the beautiful tree-lined streets, and great schools make Cupertino a fantastic place and visit.
