Covington is slowly, but surely improving. When I first moved to Covington over 15 years ago, it was very rural. The city just got its first Burger King restaurant last year. Nevertheless, it was always been decent spot for dining because they have always had plenty of other options.
Covington is pretty quiet especially in the subdivisions. We have no public transportation. Property taxes are extremely low. Everyone is fairly nice where I live, and I have no regrets for making this move from up north.
