Ado Ekiti is a very very serene area. If you’re moving from a small town to Ado Ekiti, cost of living might be too high for you but if you’re moving from the high side to here, you will really love it here because it will be so affordable for you.

Ado Ekiti is the capital of Ekiti state. It’s a peaceful Yoruba city. Accommodation is fairly cheap. Indigenes speak mostly Yoruba but most understand English. Light is reasonable. Downside is no cinema, shoprite or airport. But fairly reasonable malls. Just average hangout joints. Nightlife is non existent. Overall it’s a fairly safe and affordable city but a little boring and non indigenous people might continuously have to tell people they don’t understand Yoruba.
