It’s a 35-minute drive west from Disneyworld, the number one tourist destination in the world. Clermont is known as the “Gem of the Hills” due to the presence of rolling hills in the area, making it one of only two cities in Florida with such geographical features. It hosts world-competition triathlons and boasts a long, paved bike path throughout South Lake County. Additionally, Clermont is home to three large natural lakes, offering opportunities for boating, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, picnicking, and walking, providing ample outdoor activities.

The weather in this state is mostly hot and humid. Either you have an entire sunny, hot and humid day, or a rainy day. If you enjoy the beach then you’ll love the beaches here. If you are a person that loves the outdoor then this is the place for you.

When moving to the city of Clermont in the Sunshine State of Florida, a must to visit is the local swimming hole, Waterfront Park. Many locals enjoy boating in the lake and fishing. Another fun activity is to visit the local historic village; A view on the lake is spectacular while visiting the handful of buildings.

Clermont has a large community of athletes. Clermont hosts the national training center for Olympic athletes. Besides the training center, the town boosts many safe trails and running areas. Part of our identity is running 5k races with our children. It is nice to be able to train and race with world class athletes.

the view of the sunset is sensational, and the location is becoming a hotspot. Clermont is settled in a prime location close enough to Disney World and Orlando without being too close to these Florida highlights. The sunsets make you feel right at home and signals the end to a bright sunny day into a warm summer night.
