Beautiful beaches and great restaurants. A great southern lifestyle.

The history is beautiful. Cost of living has increased. The beaches are beautiful. Plethora of great restaurants.

When moving to Charleston, you should be prepared to live off the peninsula. Living downtown is great, however if you are looking for luxury without a hefty price tag downtown is not for you! The surrounding areas of James Island, Daniel Island, and Mount Pleasant are arguably nicer and more livable at a fraction of the price.

Charleston is filled with water. We have beautiful beaches that span as far as the eye can see. We are a charming people with a major historical background found in African-American history. The traditional language of the people here is called “Gullah”. Basket weaving is an art form we brought from our original homeland and we share it with the tourist that visit our city.

Charleston, South Carolina, is at its best in three out of four seasons. You can expect a short winter, moderate temperatures in spring and fall, and a beach heat summer. History is everywhere so try to visit one of former plantations, take a tour of downtown or go to one of our many beaches. Whatever you choose, fun will abound.
