Chandrapur is known for Asia’s biggest thermal power station. After that it is known for a tiger sanctuary named Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Lots of people come here to see tigers. There is a temple called Mahakali Mata.

HELPFUL REPORT

Geographically we lie in central India, therefore the temperature is high throughout the year. My home city is rich in minerals, especially coal, therefore one can expect air pollution due to industries built in here. Apart from that, jobs are very high in my city. It is a great place for nature lover and bird-watcher as we are surrounded by the Tadoba national forest. Chandrapur also has a history of tribal rulers, so one can visit old temples and palaces which were built in the 1200s. They reveal their excellency in architecture by fine carvings on monolithic rocks.

Chandrapur is known for its hot and dry climate throughout the year, therefore carrying organic clothing would be better. Additionally the city is rich in its natural resources, hence various industries are built in here causing pollution in the city. However, we also have a National forest with some exotic flora and fauna. carrying a binocular or a camera to capture its beauty would be relaxing after a long hours day.

Chandrapur is known as Black gold city, means you will be finding a lot of coal mines here around. Then talking about historical monuments we have some remains of the forts built by our Great ruler Gond Raja, who was the ruler of the Deccan (now hyderabad). We also have one of the India’s most famous tiger reserve Tadoba sanctuary which is itself a treat to watchout for any visitor. And there are some famous temples here too.

Visit the Mahakali temple which is the most beautiful place. The city is called Black city because of it’s pollution and coal presence. And to tell about more it’s that you can have many asthmatic diseases because of the pollution. The mall Big cinemas are really good and relaxing place.
