Carson City is the capital of the state of Nevada. We are near The Sierra Nevadas and Reno. Both offer amazing attractions from skiing, snowboarding, hiking to Casinos, and fine dining. If you ever decide to come out here, stop by Carson City and check out the state capitol building, its has a unique history.

Whomever is considering to move to my town should know the boredom. This is a small town with nothing to really do for fun. Only positive thing about living here is the scenery of Lake Tahoe and the mountains surrounding us. Also, you would think this a quiet town since the population is so small but unfortunately this city is expanding.

We are strategically between beautiful Lake Tahoe and the desert. There are a variety of outdoor activities available for all enthusiasts that range from snow skiing to sand surfing. We are also the capital of Nevada and boast a strong economy based on the gaming culture and on small industry.

Carson City is a wonderful place. The city is small enough that it is not overwhelming, and the cost of living is reasonable. However, Carson City is in close proximity to Reno, Tahoe, and Virginia City, making it easy for residents to drive to areas that offer more options for recreation.
