Carrollton, Georgia, is a wonderful place. While it may seem small, our bustling town is filled with a diverse and rich history. There are some great places to eat and shop, but many of the local businesses thrive in amazing Civil War-era dwellings. This town Is ideal as it’s close enough to the big city, but far enough to give residents plenty of personal space.

Carrollton, GA is a semi-formal, suburb of Atlanta. The University of West GA and West GA Technical College are headquartered in this town. These institutions of higher learning draw students from all over the world to our community. The students enjoy living in a smaller town while being only an hour away from Atlanta.

Carrollton is a quaint town with a strong sense of community. Many local events are held each year that bring in large crowds from neighboring cities. These events help raise money that is put back into the community through beautification projects, local grants, and scholarship programs at the local university.
