Carmel is a small, nice town to the north of Indianapolis. There is the Monon Trail that runs north-south through the city and is frequently used by locals to take walks, exercise, or explore the town safely. It is easy to commute around Carmel because two key highways run north-south of the town: Highway 31 to the west and the Keystone Highway to the east. Because of the user-friendly design of the town, you can travel very quickly to where you need to be in Carmel.
