Carmarthen is a modern, thriving town consisting of many boutique shops and outdoor cafes. It was established by the Romans and was the first town to gain ‘civitas’ status the Romans. The town has excellent road access with the A40 running close by and, it is a mere, two miles to the countryside which contains many pathways for safe walking.
