In Caracas, as in most parts of Venezuela, people are friendly and welcoming with visitors. That means that the social aspect would be rather easy for anyone moving in here. However, the political and economical instability that this country has been facing for the last decade, is something to keep in mind. People here must be willing to live with that uncertainty.

I am from Caracas, Venezuela. If you are visiting, start with climbing the Avila mountain. Once you have reached Sabas Nieves, you should buy yourself a raspadito with condensed milk. If you are in the country for a couple of days do not hesitate to visit Los Roques, a true tropical paradise.

Consider the terrible economic situation we are going through, the low quality of life we have to deal with, and the low support we get. It is very hard to live in Caracas, Venezuela. I would not recommend anybody move here.

Caracas could be considered a dangerous city. However, if someone moving is well-advised, they could get to enjoy the beautiful and captivating parts of the city and its culture. For example, we have some interesting traditional foods, with a lot of history behind them. Also, our landscape is dominated by an imposing mountain, perfect for trekking and exploring.

The situation in this city and country is very difficult economically and should consider moving somewhere else. However, it has some beautiful places like Plaza Venezuela and El Avila which is a mountain you can either climb or get on a cableway to reach the top. Up there you can find several shops and buy some nice souvenirs.
