The city of Cape Girardeau is alluring and charming, filled with unique art and small businesses. Being the home of a college campus, Cape Girardeau is constantly bustling and lit up. Do not let the up-beat nature of the campus fool you though, there are still a bounty of quiet places to read a book next to the Mississippi River.

If moving to Cape Girardeau, know summer is extremely humid. Though, the river wall in Downtown Cape Girardeau is a sight to behold. Along with a humid summer, the Missourian winter is highly dry and harsh. Winter also is likely to bring snow storms and hail.
