When you plan to move to Cape Coral, make sure you buy a house that already has city water installed. This is a crucial thing to watch out for when purchasing a house as there will be a fee of $20,000 in the near future as the city is currently renovating through a big change. I would not recommend any house older than 20 years, in case of a hurricane, since the old roofs would not be able to survive.
Cape Coral, Florida, is a small but big town. We used to be overrun by retired elderly people but our median age has gone down and we are more of a family community. We are growing and our getting more and more updated.
Cape Coral is a very quiet city, though it is not small. The roads are very easy to memorize because everything is in one, big square. It is a great place to start and raise a family. The schools are great, and the weather is even better. It never gets below 50 degrees the whole year.
