It is laden with historical sites. It is a town with colonial prominence and slave stories. It was the first national capital of the then Gold Coast. It has notable places like the Cape Coast castle, the first senior high school in the country.
Food stuffs are comparatively expensive here than in other cities. More so, there are so many tourist sites in this city. The city is known for it castles and traditions which people come to learn.
Cape Coast as my city is the oldest Fishing port, and capital of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly in Ghana. It is in the south of the country. As the first capital of Gold Coast now Ghana, the city can boast of many historical background like the Castles etc.
