Cambridge is quintessentially English, bustling with history, culture and student life. However, it isn’t your typical city as it is relatively small, giving it an almost familiar feel. However, due to its size, accommodation and housing can prove to be expensive. Navigation around the city is easiest done by bicycle or (if you are feeling brave), by punt.
Cambridge is a famous university city with a diverse population. It has a prestigious history spanning centuries. Cambridge has many leading pharmaceutical companies, conducting world-renowned research that is often at the forefront of medical innovation. The city is home to one of the top universities in the UK, and attracts students from around the world. All of whom are looking for a first-class education.
The city that I live in, is very beautiful and has the most prestigious colleges in the country, including the famous Kings College. The River Cam runs through the city and in summer, punting down the river is a very popular pastime. Most people take a picnic with strawberries and a bottle of champagne.
