Our city is peaceful and polluted. Hotels and other resting places are not expensive. People are hospitable and smiles are plastered on their faces whenever you meet or see them. We also have lots of tourist spots even though our place is considered a city. To sum up, our city is a must-visit place.

Our city has lots of delicacies. It is the city of timber city of the south. It is popularly known for our colorful history and culture. We have lots of beautiful scenery. This city is safe, it is one of the lowest crime rate in Mindanao. There is a saying that “There was no Philippines but there was Butuan.”

Cost of living is not quite high compared to other large cities in the country. People in our place are accommodating and friendly to everyone. Lastly, crime rate is low and you will be confident enough to roam around even late at night. Job opportunities also are everywhere just prepare for interview anytime.

A highly urbanized city and the capital of the Caraga Region, Butuan City offers a peaceful city life without taking away the province feel. Friendly and hospitable Butuanons are always ready to lend a hand. Because it is a small city, every necessity is accessible which is an advantage especially to working individuals.

Before moving to Butuan City, it is quite a small city, unlike Metro Manila. However, it offers certain advantages that big cities don’t have, such as upscale housing for cheaper rent, availability and easy access to farmer’s markets, and a sense of community. Also, much like a big city, there are a lot of coffee shops and shopping malls to spend your leisure time in. If you are looking for a city that has the peace of rural living and the advantage of an urban setting, Butuan City is the best place for you.

Butuan City is the capital of Caraga region. It lies in the valley surrounded by rivers. The mountains surrounding it is a perfect view of contemplation and reflection. There are only few tourist sites in our place. We only have few malls, one museum and a beach which is not that attractive like the other known beaches. Moving to Butuan City is a interesting decision to make. While it is the capital of the province of Agusan del Norte, it really isn’t the best city to go to. The city itself is below sea-level, so expect a lot of flooding during the rainy seasons. The city’s commerce is still developing, despite the neighboring cities already being more developed than Butuan, but it is showing a little bit of promise, especially with the construction of an SM Mall right at the heart of the city.
