Shopping can be done in a nearby suburb, Vernon Hills, and many residents of the two cities commute to other towns for work.

Buffalo Grove is a northern suburb of Chicago with mostly residential areas. It has a nice bowling alley, a golf course, and several shopping centers. it is a quiet and friendly home for people of different backgrounds. One of the attractions is a large park with a small lake and multiple hiking paths.
