Bryan, Texas, shares a border with the city of College Station. Both of these are considered college towns and are home to Blinn College and Texas A&M University. This means they are often crowded with college students during the school year. However, the cities also cater to this particular population, meaning there is much to do in terms of entertainment and nightlife.

Bryan is a twin city to College Station, which is a major college town. Sharing a border, they are both home to many college students. While this means Bryan is often a busy place, there is also a lot of entertainment. There are many bars, retail stores, and a lot of fun things to do.

Moving to the Brazos Valley, specifically Bryan, TX, is an experience. Many newcomers enjoy the restaurant and entertainment options in the are. There are some that do not mesh well with the large student population of Bryan. Bryan is a great city with many options for entertainment, food, and well-being.

Any college town will boast great nightlife, but my city excels at it. I don’t mean clubs or posh bars. I’m talking about dive bars that smell like wet wood when one walks in and the booths are carved entirely from decades of drunk students etching their names. To be cliche, it’s the kind of places where everyone knows your name. Take a couple bucks to play a round of pool or darts. You will not have a better time than at a dive bar.

One of this principal aspects of the city is its suburban feel. Many of the neighborhoods are miles apart from one another, representing a planning strategy that I feel is unfortunate, but quite common in this region. Young people who are attracted to the comforts and excitement of urban living, as I am, would do well to steer clear of Bryan, Texas.
