If moving to Broomfield, it is important to know the citizens pride themselves in being a small town. The city council works to maintain a sense of community by providing support to home town business and owners. Small community events are planned by the council and the chamber of commerce to ensure that businesses and citizens are brought together for the success of the City and County of Broomfield.

One of the only attractions in the actual city of Broomfield itself is the large shopping mall. However, Broomfield is in close proximity to many hiking trails, small towns, and Boulder, a popular tourist city. Broomfield is far enough from downtown Denver that it is not overcrowded, but still offers many restaurants, shopping locations, and activities.
