Bridgend is a fairly large town, but unfortunately the town itself has become somewhat abandoned. The main benefit of living in Bridgend is the location. Within fifteen minutes’ drive you can find several wonderful beaches, and the beautiful, rolling hills of Brecon are less than one hour away by car. The capital city of Wales, Cardiff, is roughly twenty-five miles away and is filled with fantastic restaurants, live music, shops, and bars.

Someone moving here would like it. It isn’t too small. But it isn’t too big either. There are a few well known people who come from the city as well. Some of these are sports stars, especially rugby players. The former First Minister was from here as well.

Bridgend is a small town in South Wales, UK. It’s a beautiful area with lots of greenery and plenty of sheep. Bridgend is only a short drive from the coast and residents spend most of their spare time at the beach and hiking up the mountains. Cardiff, the Capital City, is only a 10-minute drive away. Bridgend is incredibly relaxed and just a lovely place.
