The town of Brandon is not a particularly interesting one. In the center of a state, the existence of which commonly escapes people’s minds, Brandon has an underfunded school system, dwindling businesses, and a population disproportionately comprised of old people. However, were you to decide to move to Brandon, perhaps by some poor decision making or lack of a better place to relocate, you’d be impressed by the singular week in autumn during which we have amazing and vibrant foliage. Skiing opportunities are not sparse either, as Brandon is very close to both the Middlebury Snow Bowl and Pico in Killington. Basically, don’t move here.
