Bochum, in northwestern part of Germany, is a densely populated city unlike most other cities. The region is well known for its coal mining history. The diaspora has a migrant background, mostly from the neighboring countries like Poland, Ukraine and refugees from Syria, Turkey etc. It provides a very neutral and a friendly environment for the immigrants.
