Bhawanipatna is surrounded by hills. One can see nature dancing here with its full vigour. My place is known for handicrafts. Bhawanipatna is named after Lord Bhavani Shankar. A place having rich and vivid cultural heritage. Kalahandi comprises of two words viz. Kala-Art, Handi- Pot. A pot full of art, artists and artifacts.
