Bethlehem is a 2nd or 3rd tier city in the USA. It’s for people who like to live in a city environment but without the hustle and bustle of big city life.

– Across the Lehigh River, in South Side, the SteelStacks campus brings the arts to life through the Levitt Pavilion, ArtsQuest, PBS39, and others.
– Bethlehem blends into Bucks County to the south and the Poconos to the north.
– Never take a left on William Penn unless you want to wait ten minutes.
– Drive to Jersey to get gas during the winter, so they pump it for you.
– It won’t snow until February and won’t stop until May.

People moving to Bethlehem should know the people here are friendly and laid back. The community here is very tight-knit and do their best to make everyone at home. There are many great restaurants and exciting places that I recommend checking out such as Steel Stacks and The Banana Factory.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, sits along the Lehigh River, 15 minutes from the New Jersey border. Postcards show the famous Hotel Bethlehem, the Bethlehem Star on South Mountain, and the Steel Stacks plaza on the old Bethlehem Steel site. Bethlehem is 1 hour away from Philadelphia and another hour and a half away from New York City. It is a family town, an arts town, and a college town with a growing city scene. Every August, Musikfest, the largest free music festival in the country, sprouts downtown all through the North Side and across the bridge to South Side Bethlehem.

Before moving to the city of Bethlehem, be aware that the city is more family oriented and there is not much to do in the area other than relax with loved ones, hike mountain trails, visit local stores, pizzerias, and plan to travel to another state. I do not recommend moving to Bethlehem unless you are planning to settle down in a quiet community. if you are in search of a big business or prospering company to work at, you most likely won’t find that here.

There are many beautiful sights to see in Bethlehem, PA. One of my favorite things about my hometown is how grassy it is and how many places there are where you can enjoy nature.
