One comment on “Belle Haven”

Before moving to Belle Haven, Virginia, there are two factors people should consider. First, people should ask themselves if a rural lifestyle is for them. In Belle Haven, and in fact on the entire Eastern Shore of Virginia, there is no shopping mall, no large movie theaters, and no club or party scenes. There is one Walmart, and it was an important community event when it opened. There are many secluded and public beaches nearby, and this is a perk to many individuals seeking to relocate to the Shore. Second, people should consider the local school system. The Eastern Shore is a low income area, and the schools do not have the best rating. However, there are many dedicated teachers, and many are locals. If people choose the live in Belle Haven, they have the added advantage of living on the “County Line,” meaning they are able to choose which of the two school divisions they want their children to attend. Belle Haven’s central location, and the surrounding locations on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, make Belle Haven an attractive, peaceful, and desirable place.
