Barrington is an upscale community of around 10,000 inhabitants. While neighboring cities such as Deer Park and South Barrington are home to sprawling shopping and service centers (Deer Park’s Town Center and South Barrington’s Arboretum), Barrington itself lacks a true community center. Instead, most of its shops are spread out in pockets diverging from the intersection of Lake-Cook Road and Hough Street Road. Barrington is also well-known for its lauded public school system, which regularly produces college-attending graduates. Barrington’s spacious housing plots are another factor that make the city an attractive spot for raising a family.

Barrington is a very nice suburban environment with access to a big city. It provides residents with plenty of green space and many wonderful public amenities. that anyone moving to this town should consider its fantastic schools and welcoming neighborhoods. Many of those who grow up in this town return in their later years to raise their own families.
