Before moving to my city a person should know that this is one of the most peaceful place in the state, even in the country. The city doesn’t face many eventful occurrences but it keeps away from all the dangers that lurks everywhere else. It has never faced any severe natural disaster, terrorist attack, and major crimes, so this is a good place to live without fear. However it gets very hot during the summer with temperatures above 40℃. Also there are not many places for visiting or sightseeing here, with only a few malls and no cinema hall. But it can be a pleasant place to call home.
The city is remotely in the state of West Bengal. There is acute water scarcity. It is call south west Bengal and has a historical linkage to Malla era in Bengal. Bengali is predominantly spoken and know Hindi and English. South eastern Railway passed through the city and NH 60 connecting it to major cities of India.
