If you visit Bandera, TX, make sure to bring your fishing poles, cameras and ice chest full of drinks and snacks, as there are a few great spots to fish and the scenery is great as well. Bandera, TX, is approximately 40 miles west from San Antonio. The best places to fish and hang out are at the Bandera River Park, Medina River, Silver Spur Ranch, and the Guadalupe River. Also, if you are planning to stay there are a few nice places such as, The Perennial Vacation club, The Riverfront Hotel, or The Perennial Vacation Club.
